Hoppy Easter

Time is just flying by. Connor is already almost 5 months old. Nate turned terrible 2.5 this week. Nate cracks us up and drives us crazy on a daily basis. Connor just started rolling over and he is starting to do lots of talking. We are suuper busy, though I couldn't quite tell you with what. We love these little boys to pieces. Life is good.

Friday Fun Day

We ventured to downtown Danville this morning for a juggling show at this adorable little theatre called the Village Theatre. We scored some front row seats and Nate was absolutely mesmerized. His little eyes never left the stage and he clapped on cue after each act. Connor woke up towards the end and seemed to find the whole thing quite interesting as well...at least he didn't start crying. The show was actually pretty funny, with quite a bit of the humor aimed at the mommies (and the one dad and grandpa that braved the show as well : )

We had a lovely al fresco lunch after the show and even stopped at the candy shop on the way home.

I sure am digging being home with my boys. Especially on days like today...no meltdowns, no potty training accidents, perfect 70 degree weather. I think I could get used to this. Happy Friday!

My Funny Valentines

How cute are these boys?

I am one lucky girl!

Happy Valentine's Day! XOXO

The Bachelor

I'm a total Bachelor addict and proud of it. "Ladies, this is the final rose tonight." Tonight's episode was just as awesomely awful as always. My palms were sweating watching Courtney let that tarantula crawl all over her bare arms. I really hope Ben doesn't pick her. She's mean and she likes spiders...double yuck.

Alligator Bites

I love that Nate will eat alligator...and even ask for more when it's all gone.

We went to Union Square for some shopping with Uncle Brian and Aunt Michelle last night. We tried out a cute new Southern place called Hops and Hominy tucked down a little alley right near union square. Nate was actually excited for dinner when I told him he was going to have crocodile. I was looking forward to ordering the alligator po'boy, but they didn't have it on the menu last night so we had to settle for the alligator bites. They tasted a lot like chicken nuggets. Anything fried is a-ok in my book. Extra props to the restaurant for not being jerks to us even though we walked in with our ginormous double stroller and two crazy kiddos.

Even though it doesn't look like he likes it from this pic, I promise he did : )

Naptime

It's finally naptime at our house. Nate fought his nap for 2+ hours today. I was all ready to give up when he just conked out. Should I shower, wash the breakfast dishes or watch Revenge?? Hmmm...decisions, decisions. Oh wait, never mind, Connor's up. Well, it was nice while it lasted : )

Smiles and stuff

Li'l baby Connor isn't that little anymore. Connor turned two months last week. It feels like he has been part of our family forever. It has been a long two months...in a good way. We have done so many fun things and done so much celebrating since Connor was born. He has just been along for the ride.

I just had to dig up Nate's 2 month picture. I feel like they look pretty different. Connor definitely doesn't have the red fro!

We have been getting lots of smiles lately. I totally forgot how cool it is when your baby all of a sudden shows that they recognize (and like!) you after almost two months.

I totally found a favorite rug to take pictures on. We like snuggling on this rug in the morning in our pj's...well, at least I'm still in my pj's.

Connor got to meet his cousin Logan who is 2 months older. Logan is just the cutest and I'm sure he is going to be besties with Connor.

Nate is a wonderful big brother. He loves to love on Connor. He sings him songs and gives him aggressive (but still kind of sweet) snuggles.

That was a bit of a random mish mash of what we have been up to, but at least I'm posting. Baby steps!

I thought it was too quiet...

At least my little boy is moisturized. This adorable two year old is keeping us on our toes and cracking us up daily.
